Calbuco Volcanic Ash Cloud
April 24, 2015

Volcano Calbuco in Chile erupted Thursday, April 23 and the ensuing ash cloud has impacted operations at several airports in the surrounding region.

The following flights have been cancelled today, April 24, 2015:

Flights to/from Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • AA 900 EZE - MIA
  • AA 908 EZE - MIA
  • AA 954 EZE - JFK
  • AA 996 EZE - DFW
  • AA 909 MIA - EZE
  • AA 931 MIA - EZE
  • AA 953 JFK - EZE
  • AA 997 DFW - EZE
Flights to/from Santiago, Chile
  • AA 912 SCL - MIA
  • AA 940 SCL - DFW
Flights to/from Montevideo, Uruguay
  • AA 984 MVD - DFW
  • AA 989 MIA - MVD
Flights to/from San Jose, Costa Rica
  • AA1204 SJO - MIA
  • AA1512 SJO - DFW

Tomorrow's operation has also been impacted with the following cancellations for April 25, 2015:

  • AA 908 EZE - MIA
  • AA 954 EZE - JFK
  • AA 996 EZE - DFW
  • AA 984 MVD - MIA
