  • Q: Will there be any immediate changes?
    For now, it will be business as usual with no changes to the American or US Airways processes. We will keep you informed of any changes that may take place. Check back here for updates.

  • Q: Will my US Airways rates apply on an American and vice versa? When will I get new rates? When will you have a single AWB?
    Rates, tariffs, exceptions, promotional rates, spot rates, contracts, allocations, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, screening surcharges, and AWBs will continue to remain unchanged until further notice.

  • Q: Can I call the American call center to book a US shipment and vice versa?
    Customer call centers will continue to operate independently. American Airlines Cargo customers should contact 1-800-227-4622 or visit aacargo.com, and US Airways Cargo customers should contact 1-888-300-0099 or visit usairways.com/cargo.

  • Q: Can I tender a US shipment at an American facility and vice-versa?
    Customers should continue to tender and recover shipments at existing, separate locations for US and American.

  • Q: Can an American shipment connect to a US flight and vice versa?
    Our cargo businesses will continue to operate independently and booking, schedules and services will remain unchanged.

  • Q: What is happening to the Sales force? Do I call my American rep or my US Airways rep and will they continue to visit?
    Territories/GSAs will remain the same and customers should continue to contact their current sales representative.

  • Q: How do I report Cargo operational issues?
    There will be no change to the way customers report operational issues for each individual airline.

  • Q: Are your Cargo operations merging?
    Our cargo businesses will continue to operate independently and booking, schedules and services will remain unchanged. Although we will continue to operate as two separate companies for a while, we are making great progress on our integration. But for now, it will be business as usual day one with no changes to the American or US processes.
